A Back to Blogging Brunch

I fell off the wagon (or is it on the wagon?) of healthy eating these days. In a time still frozen with grieving and stress, I find myself gorging on out-of-the-ordinary things (like yogurt, cheese, and sweets) with my allergies at a severe all-time high. Needless to say, I feel like shit.

They say that taking photos of your food usually indicates a better eater, so at the very least, time to blog again!

After drooling over Candypenny's tofu brunch posts, while on route to Ikea in Red Hook, we stopped at Hope & Anchor for some tofu scramble. It was sooooo good! I loved how nice and light it was, and a change from the nutritional yeast laden scrambles (not that there is anything wrong with that either, considering I eat the stuff straight with a spoon like a crazy person, but it is nice to change it up!)

Two things dressed all in black:

1. Me, all "pleather" jacket clad, from the SJP Bitten line ($7.99 at Steve & Barry's)

2. Coffee, coffee, coffee!











We left with satisfied bellies, and, unexpectedly, a thrift-ed metal card catalog file cabinet from Atlantis Found right next door.

Screw Ikea anyway; I have always wanted one of these!!!!!
