Drunks play Kazoooo!

For the last weekend before Costa Rica (and a whole 2 weeks away from work!) we went to Alex's ever-so-gorgeous annual garden party in Bed Stuy. It was also Adam's birthday bash, so a few of us drunkards gathered around and played a lil' birthday kazoo and harmonica (or tried to, anyway).


And, of course, what are we gathered around? The food!!!

Workin' hard, or hardly workin'

It's hard not to slip into vacation mode somewhere before your actual vacation begins. I've been buying food and running around like crazy. Today is my last day in the office before the 2 week stretch, and 10 of those days will be in Costa Rica! (of which there will be a plethora of fresh foods to report daily!) But, for now, I eat from a foiled tin at my desk while I wrap things up here at the grind:


Raw cabbage & kale salad, veggies, (cooked) mustard-caked tofu, brown rice, lentils, etc
