CIVIC DUTY ( with a side of tofu)

After waiting about 2 hours on a few different lines (one to get in, one for your district), we found out that our names were not in the book, despite being registered. We filled out an affidavit, which was my first time doing so, although I found that there was still a childlike urge inside me to get in there and "press the buttons."

Oh well. My right to vote...served!

Afterward, I celebrated with a deeeeelicious freshly baked bagel from Brooklyn Bread in Park Slope, with tofu cream cheese & a peppermint tea.

Hands down, this bagel wins my vote!!!!!!
