Same hot cereal as yesterday, Bob's Red Mill creamy brown rice farina, but this time without the fruit mixed in. I have to admit, this was not good. It felt like spackle, and it tasted like it too. Just a reminder that this cereal needs other things like fruits, agave and rice/soy milk to give it flavor. Lesson learned.A fresh fruit smoothie fixed my grumpy problem: So Delicious brand coconut yogurt (plain flavor), with 1 frozen banana, 2 tablespoons Bob's Red Mill flax meal, water, and a handful of strawberries & blueberries.
Some in-between things: celery with peanut butter, Mary's Gone Cracker's (gluten-free) with my homemade vegan cheese, green tea.
Lunch was a salad of brown rice, red leaf lettuce, Native Forest artichoke hearts, avocado, kidney beans, black soy beans, caramelized onions, oregano, and oil & vinegar.
Later, Tim made the perfect dinner: a simple balance of greens (kale), starches (sweet potatoes), protein (marinated LightLife tempeh with seasonings and Bragg's), and a little bit of fat (Earth Balance).
